Foothill paving, done with the water in mind
Asphalt Driveway Paving Placitas is a locally owned New Mexico paving operation working in Placitas, Bernalillo, Algodones, the Pueblo communities along the river, and the Turquoise Trail towns of Madrid, Cerrillos and Golden.
The work here is different from paving a flat city lot. Drives climb hillsides, roads cross arroyos, rock turns up where you don't want it, and a single monsoon storm can undo a year of grading. We focus on the parts that decide whether pavement lasts: where the water goes, what the base sits on, and whether the edges are supported.
How we work
- Drainage first. We plan ditches, crossings and outlets before choosing a surface.
- The right surface for each section. Asphalt where it's steep, chip seal where it's long, millings where budget matters most.
- Shared-road friendly. Prices broken out by section or lot so neighbors can split them.
- Respect for the setting. Natural-looking finishes where they fit, clean sites, and coordination with Pueblo and local requirements.
- In writing. Quantities, thicknesses, drainage work and price.

What we do
Hillside driveways, new driveways, gravel conversions, private roads, association maintenance, chip seal, millings, culverts and crossings, overlays, sealcoating, crack sealing, repairs and commercial lots.
